Beautiful site set in the woods with every pitch as cozy as the next. 2 minutes walk and your on the board walk around derwent water and 5 mins the other way and your on your way up cat bells. The staff are very relaxed about the cc club rules and you dont feel like your getting a lecture upon arrival. Perfect place for peacful walks with or without the dog but just be wary of the way in through the tight village of grange. Well worth the effort though. We love the conniston site but this just beats it for the location.
