Great area and clean site but….
First a word of warning. The archway at Bolton Abbey is only 2.8m wide. This is clear in the directions leaflet but should be more evident in the general description. Our van and caravan only just fitted through after removing the extension mirrors of fthe Van (VW Transporter).
Bolton Abbey estate is great and the site has walking access directly onto the estate. Skipton is close by and worth a visit. Abbey Tea room at Bolton Bridge very friendly with good honest food.
Welcome was not great with a verbal list of don’ts and the impression that dogs were not welcome (as it was most other club members had dogs and they were all fine).
The lower pitches back onto a primary school playground which will be noisy during week.
Facilities clean and tidy if a little small.
Contrary to site information there is a reasonable EE mobile signal (possibly new) there is no coverage from the other mobile networks though.
TV coverage is poor (aware when booking) and only accessible through coax connection to power posts.
If visiting the area the Wharfedale site at Grassington is a much better option.
