We wanted a site for a quick two night break, and this was a good choice. We had not been before, though we like the Bolton Abbey area with walks on the river, partly not attracted because the site seemed rather cramped and under trees. Both these were true, the pitches rather close together and close to the driveway. However, it also proved a very good handy location for our main purpose which was to have a day walking the river up to Burnsall. Fine weather helped. Finally I agree with the reviewer who commented on the very narrow arch lower down on the road - my towing mirror suffered here.
