Perfect getaway

Bolton Abbey is my nearest Club site and I'm so glad it is. The location is perfect for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and there are no shortage of attractions in the area. 20 minute walk and you are at the most spectacular edge of the river Wharfe where it churns through the narrows known as The Strid. The site is beautiful, the facilities immaculate, the welcome couldn't be friendlier and the access is easy for caravanners and motorhomes. There is a fairly narrow but high archway to negotiate about 1mile from the roundabout where the A65 and A59 meet. Buses get through it so I imagine a motorhome will. It's as well to check with the site though as it would be difficult to turn round if you can't get through. My extention mirrors clear it so a 2.2m unit should follow.  This is a site I intend to visit often. It is so peaceful and beautiful. There is the added bonus of the Strid cafe right next to the site. You can get a full English breakfast from 9.30am and the bacon sandwiches are excellent.
