Just back from a week at Bolton Abbey site and had a great time. The site is well laid out and access to the Abbey grounds and walks was very good, with great walk paths and trails to follow. A lovely cafe at the entrance to site as well as at the cavendish down by the Abbey ~2 miles walk along riverside path. As always with club sites the toilets were in good condition and kept spotless. Our only concern with the site was the caterpillars / larvae falling from trees onto the caravan and awning which has taken most of the weekend to clean from every nook and cranny. Advice to anyone staying is to check for caterpillars and keep vents / windows shut.
