Really lovely site, stayed 2 nights with 2 young children who loved the park despite it being small. The facilities were clean. Loved the treasure trail too and the kids loved getting a prize upon completion. Wardens really friendly and gave advice on the local area. We drove to the reservoir as we felt it was too far to walk with 2 young children. Great few hours out, spent mostly on the huge park there! Also went to Hen Cloud. Struggled to find the main path up to it but got to the top eventually! We will definitely be back in the future as there's loads of other walks I'd like to try once the kids are a bit older. But we had a very relaxed 2 nights so I'd come back again just to relax.
