We have been thinking of coming here for years but we are the type of caravanners to return to the same site year after year. We decided to give Blackshaw a go and wow we are so glad we did. From the time of arrival we were met with a pleasant chap who shown me to our pitch number 17 ( we asked for a pitch near the wc block for health reasons) I set it and returned to the reception to be booked in by the lady warden. The site is on 3 or 4 levels it's nice and well kept, some pitches are small buy OK the toilet and shower facilities were spotless (apart from some visitors who think leaving a toilet filthy is OK) but that's not the wardens fault. Leek was brilliant we enjoyed the different choice of shops and the market. Plenty of pubs and restaurants if you like a nibble or a tipple. Overall brilliant and we will most certainly be back.
