This was our eighth site in a four week trip but the worst with regard to exercising our dogs. The dog walk is fine for a quick 'comfort walk' but there is nowhere within miles where they can run free. We were advised by the site staff that they could be off the lead at the reservoir 2 miles away but this is not the case. Neither can they run free on local moorland as there are livestock grazing and after March 1st it is a legal requirement for dogs to be on the lead. For none dog owners the site is lovely but I would think a pitch away from the busy main road is a must.
