We arrived on Monday the 6th March 2017. Great reception at reception. This was the only Derbyshire site we had not stayed at. Glad we did. Pitches were roomy, level & clean. Toilets were their usual standard, spotless. Some views from the pitches were beautiful. The dog walk was a little muddy. However the wardens were laying down wood chipping to make it less so. Local pubs are a treat, especially The Lazy Trout, great food service & value. Book if you want to dine after 4pm though, it does get busy. The more 'senior' wardens were great at giving us instruction of how to get back to the M1. We arrived via one windy road. All in all a great site, we WILL be back.
