Just returned from our short break here, enjoyed it immensely. The view of the Roaches is great and the surrounding area is beautiful. Leek is a lovely small town with plenty of tea rooms etc. Buxton is well worth a visit. The National Trust properties of Lyme Park, Little Moreton Hall and Bidulph Grange are all only a short drive away. The site itself is well maintained, clean and friendly. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We hope to return soon. The only negative is that the T.V. reception is poor, but if you want watch TV stay at home.
