This was our first outing to a site since our purchase of a caravan. It is only 30min from our home but the location is really handy for accessing two reservoirs, the Roaches, the Peak District and Leek itself which has shops a plenty. (Incl Waitrose if you like living the high life!) On arrival we were met by Anthony and Sheila who were very welcoming and helped Us position the caravan and couldn't have been more helpful. Throughout our stay they were always busy keeping the site tidy but always approachable with their dog. The wash block was clean, tidy and warm, a real credit to the staff's hard work. Our pitch was lower down and selected for its ease of access to help us newbies. I could hear the noise from the road but nothing intrusive and it certainly didn't affect my nights sleep.  Reception stock basics and there is a small fenced play area for younger children. This site was great, last wknd of school half term and although busy never felt full or crowded. Nice security barriers with fobs issued to customers, pleasant wooded dog walk also. I have no criticism here, a great introduction for us.
