At its Peak...pardon the pun!
Stayed from 10 to 14th July. Fabulous reintroduction to touring after a lapse of quite a few years! This site didn't disappoint in any way. Check in was smooth and the pitches were spacious. The wardens were helpful and the site was beautifully maintained. I only gave 4 stars for family friendly as it is now just us and the dogs touring and theeefoee i dont feel qualifies to say if families would like it but the park area looked safe and clean and within easy view of quite a few pitches. The families that were there seemed happy enough but then the weather was gorgeous! The amenities were spotless and inviting...I never thought I'd be saying that! There is a good dog walk which is well maintained and I'm so pleased to see everyone 'bagging' it! We know the area quite well but reintroduced ourselves to Tittesworth reservoir (10 min drive) and Leek (pretty town). Only a 4 night stay but it's on our list now of 'sites to return to'. It could be a long list!
