I came onto the internet to review the site of Blackpool South as we have just had a lovely couple of days there, never having been before. I read the review that came up on the site and could not believe my eyes. Surely we are reviewing the site not the staff. Any problem with the staff should have been discussed with them or the Caravan Club. We were met on arrival by incredibly friendly helpful staff and the entire time we were there saw staff hard at work cleaning, tidying, gardening, dealing with arrivals and departures etc. According to what it says on the door they start work at 8.30am, what time do people expect them to work until? It says in the handbook that the site does not have a Late Night Arrivals Area and there are no arrivals after 8pm. It is up to members to give themselves enough time to arrive and to have contingency plans just in case of traffic etc. I think this review is very unfair on hardworking staff and sometimes people need to put themselves in the place of the staff who have been working long hours dealing with and making the surroundings clean and tidy for the members .... and no I am not related to the staff at Blackpool South! It is a lovely site and very handy for the illuminations and other tourist attractions. We will certainly be back. Thank you for a lovely stay.
