Good trip to Blackpool South Site

We stayed here for 5 nights from 15th May, friendly welcome from the wardens, toilet block always kept clean. We had a large pitch, the weather was perfect, lots of places to visit we like St Annes, and Fleetwood. Only thing to spoil our stay was barking dogs, this problem seems to be getting worse, and dog owners don't care. But we like this site and will be back soon.

Lovely stay

Stayed here for 2 nights end of April. Site was really well maintained. Toilets, showers and washing up facilities were spotless. Great location, lovely and peaceful yet close to Blackpool and Lytham. Friendly helpful staff. Will definitely return.

Great Club Site for Blackpool and the surrounding attractions!

I have stayed on this site quite a few times over the years and it has never failed to delivery. My last visit was a couple of weeks ago and I’ve already booked for 2 more visits so far this season. Good very clean shower block and excellent site wardens. Secure barrier entrance activated by a key fob. A number of retail parks close by and all the attractions of Blackpool, Lytham St Anne’s and Cleveleys within a short drive. Looking forward to my next visit.

A wonderful stay, with excellent staff

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at this excellent site. The staff are outstanding and really went the extra mile for us. Our arrival was delayed and they couldn't have been more helpful; they even helped us park and pitch our van. During our stay we went to a wedding and the staff also sourced an iron and ironing board for us to ensure that our clothes were not creased before we set off. The site is very clean, tidy and quiet, whilst being adjacent to many local attractions. It was a perfect site for our purposes, made five star plus by the superb staff.

Very Wet Easter

We visit the Blackpool site 2 or 3 times a year and as usual were not disappointed. Perfectly located for Blackpool and the surrounding area. The site itself was a little tired looking but am sure this is winter weather related as the wardens were always out and about even in the horrendous rain that we had during our stay. Will be back again without a doubt.

Mixed review - difficult decision.

DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY! We arrived 25 mins early to find a notice blocking the entrance reminding you that the earliest arrival is 12, having no room to turn around a twin axle van I had to proceed down the narrow lane hoping there was somewhere to turn around. Luckily there was a roundabout at the end of the lane. We managed to park up down the lane opposite the site to await the opening time. Whilst waiting, another outfit turned up, blocked the gateway and sign and wandered in to find the wardens. We pulled onto the site behind them at 12 to find them being berated by the warden, they had been before so should have been aware. The smell on the site was certainly interesting, the pig farm opposite the site was not the most pleasant experience, and the noise from the road used as a racetrack by the locals was terrible. I understand that these two aspects are beyond the control of the site, but be aware. The facilities are clean and well maintained, (cleaned everyday just before 12 so the wardens are not available to let you on the site), but the door locks on the toilets are too high for children to be able to reach. I saw one child allowed in by his mother to the gent s loo, but he then could not reach the lock to get back out. Playground is usual basic layout. The site is ideal to drive into Blackpool, 1 road to get to the sea front. But would I return............not sure I would. The smell for 2 of the three days we stayed was terrible, that combined with the noise does not make for a relaxing time away. This was during a cold weekend in October, so I dread to think what the smell could be like in the high summer.

Last weekend of the season

Our family of 4 have just completed a long weekend at Blackpool South and despite some windy and wet weather, consider it to be one of our best and memorable escapes. The staff are always brilliant (2 previous visits) and made us feel thoroughly welcome despite it being the last weekend of the season. The facilities were spot on and the staff offered every assistance and provided answers to all our questions. The one minor irritation with our pitch was the constant traffic noise over night. It was of our own doing as we chose the pitch and had forgotten about the busy road running behind our hedge. That aside we were able to cruise the illuminations, attend a Tower Circus performance and eat out at Harry Ramsdens. Now that's living it up!! We recommend this site without hesitation.

Lots to Do

easy to find, very helpful and welcoming staff. Great location for Blackpool, Fleetwood and other fabulous beaches. Only negative was the lack of a good dog walk close to the site,

Blackpool South Caravan SITE

Have stayed on this site on many occasions its about time there was free wifi on all club sites now the only real negative comment i have is your not allowed into site before 12 pm yet i noticed campers leaving site after 12pm which by doing so keeps others from gaining access to that pitch shurly the rules apply both ways yet Wardens dont seem to check for late departures R Gibson
