Right in the heart of the New Forest, walks from the door whichever direction you set off in. Lots of suggestions of places to visit in the information hut as well as guides produced by the New Forest Parks Agency. Definitely worth downloading their app giving suggestions on circular walks, etc., plus the maps are interactive so you can't (shouldn't) get lost. Many places to visit but Bucklers Hard is a must with a walk into Beaulieu following the loops to keep near to the river. May not be the cheapest in the list but it must be one of the friendliest and best maintained.
