We stayed at this site for 7 nights from 19th July. we chose pitch 80 well away from the ferry pitches and near to the toilet block and dog walk. The block was tired but very clean except when members leave the toilets dirty (there is no excuse for it and there were not many children on site) therefore you have to presume that it is women as well as men that are not doing what they should! We unfortunately picked the wrong time as although we reached the site on the Tuesday before the awful weekend of the Dover delays, our problem was we had to carefully plan our trips as we couldn't go to Dover as we wouldn't have been able to get back to the site, all the traffic around the area were a nightmare. Although we knew that there would be high changeover, we had no idea that being that far away from the ferry pitches would we be disturbed at 3 and 4 in the morning, I feel that is not acceptable. We met a lot of very nice, friendly people. The wardens were very helpful and I feel manage very well with the high turnover of vehicles. The pub over the road from the site is GREAT, Good food, Good service, Very friendly, helpful staff, Very Dog Friendly. I personally wouldn't go back to this site, through no fault of the site but just a bad experience and unlucky timing.
