This is a lovely well kept site close to Folkestone and Dover with a good Pub within walking distance and a small shop opposite the entrance. We had a superb large full service site at the bottom of the site one of the best service pitches I have used. The wardens are mostly cheerfull and helpfull however one warden was quite agressive with her interpretation of the excellent CC rules. For instance she insisted that motor homes reverse onto their pitch. This made it difficult for foreign motorhomes. One couple with a large german motorhome were upset with the fact they then could not get their motorbike off the rack on the rear, plus the awning was on the wrong side! They then were even more upset that when they were trying to manouver the large vehicle they went on the grass and they same warden rushed over and gave them an official warning. Another motorhome had a similar problem and both said they would never visit the site again. But in future use the camping and caravanning site nearby.
