We decided to run away from impending pressure to hold a 50th birthday party. Black Horse Farm was open, near the sea and far away from being sociable! What we didn't expect was for it to be such a lovely place to be. The wardens on arrival were really friendly, the site was fairly quiet so we had a huge choice of pitches, the toilet blocks were their usual caravan club spotless (the showers in the bottom toilet block are amazing!). The site is well placed to visit so many things. Round about we visited Folkstone and Dover, Dover is much improved from the last few years o well worth a visit. We also spent time up on the iconic white cliffs, in fact there was so much to see and do within a short drive that we wished we could have stayed all week instead of three days.
