The two wardens on duty over the Christmas period were so helpful when we found our fridge and freezer had broken down. They offered us the use of their own freezer and also gave details of people who may be able to help repair the defunct fridge. The Milestone caravan centre at Hawkinge couldn't actually help, but the owner loaned us a fridge to use whilst we were there. He didn't even ask our name and address. It's such a lovely site with plenty of walking from the footpaths that go from the main road. We will stay there again. We would like to say a very big thank you to the wonderful wardens who went above and beyond the call of duty.
