On our way over the channel we decided to try Black Horse instead of Hythe for a change. As we were quite late we basically slept, got up showered and left early. The staff were super helpful on the phone, so we were very happy to stay here on our return trip. Again we were delayed and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful on the phone. The next morning however we woke to find that the women showers were being cleaned at 08:30, with the mens due to be closed at 09:30. I know this is primarily a transit site for those travelling, but really, 08:30 !! Aside from this the shower facilities are pretty tired, and we agree that the temperature of the water wasn't great. A very useful location, but could do with a little work.
