We stayed here on our way to the Ferry and were glad not to be sleeping on the A20, as the Chaos seemed to have no end we decided to drive to Hull the next day and took a ferry to Rotterdam (no problem with Dutch Passport Control). We arrived at midday and were allocated a pitch right next to the main electricity supply unit, it didn't bother me but my wife has a thing about electro-smog and asked to change pitch, she was told no we couldn't even though we were the only ones there at that time. We had a Ferry pitch which was large and well kept. There is some sort of building work going on, not sure what they're building though, maybe its a new toilet/shower block as the current one is a little dated (although fully functional and clean). People started packing up and leaving at 04:00 so you will be woken up if you're on a Ferry Pitch. This is a nice site and perfect (normally) for the Port/Tunnel. We would use it again.
