We're thrilled to announce significant investments to enhance your experience at Black Horse Farm Club Campsite, closing the campsite on 5 October 2025 when the works will commence. The campsite is due to reopen on 10 July 2026, however some ferry pitches will be available earlier in the spring of 2026 (as will the storage facility). Before the full July 2026 reopening, the ferry pitches will operate offering a non facility/service point only experience (with a 20% price discount to reflect this).
Find out more details on the exciting redevelopment plans at camc.com/redevelopments.
During the closure time you might like to try some alternative campsites nearby:

Apart from a load of loud travellers keeping me up all night. Not much to say. Toilets aren’t the best. Won’t stay again

We stayed here for one night on a ferry pitch. I can honestly say that it was excellent in every way. The arrival process is smooth and works perfectly - we were informed that we could arrive at any time and they checked that we had received our... Show more

Booked despite the bad reviews. Saw review that there was no grass, I can say grass was great and well kept, plenty of it. We booked a hardstanding EHU pitch. Great welcome, great pitches, amenity blocks were good and clean, site was peaceful, although a lot of movement each day as... Show more

Arrived late afternoon, great facilities clean and showers were great. Lovely site, clean and presentable. Special thank you to Tony who went above and beyond to help organize our pitch. Quiet and perfect for channel crossings. Definitely stay again 10/10

A lovely campsite well situated for anyone visiting the area or crossing over to Europe. Good, clean facilities, pitch large enough for our camper & awning. A bonus for us was the secure dog area which enabled our springer spaniel to be off-lead and stretch her legs after... Show more

We arrived to a warm welcome and the staff booking us in were extremely helpful. Yes the site is tired but spotlessly clean and whilst we didn’t have children nor wouldn’t expect a full theme park the little play area was in good condition looked safe and suitable for kids wanting... Show more

Possibly the worst CMC site, certainly the worst one we have stayed at. Outdated facilities with a poor childrens play area. Reception is only staffed for arrivals. Used for first time as its our local site to get the caravan out and tested before going further afield again. Couldn't fault the site, decent pitches, immaculately clean and friendly staff - would certainly return and would recommend without hesitation.

Easy check in by picking up envelope with instructions on how to locate our pitch. All very straighforward with minimum fuss. Facilities looking a bit dated but functional and clean.
