Yes you are right there is a lot to do in this area. We live in dymchurch and lived in folkestone for 28 years and there's lots of places to visit. Next time you visit the area be sure to take a trip on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway from Hythe to Dungeness. While in Dungess try The Pilot for their fish and chips - absolutely delicious. They are the best on the Romney Marsh. From the Black Horse site you can go to canterbury and take the very reasonably priced park and ride into the city centre. Park up for £3 and the parking fee covers up to seven people on the bus and you can use the bus as many times as you like. They go every eight minutes. There's also Sandwich, and Whitstable - famous for its oysters. In the other direction Hastings, Rye to name but a few.
