Better than just an overnight halt
We've now stayed several times at Black Horse Farm site, just before a ferry/train crossing. It's perfect for that, but this time we had an extra day - I travelled into London on the high-speed train - St. Pancras in under an hour. My husband used the bus outside the site into Folkestone and then walked for 10 miles along the coast, thoroughly enjoying it. We also noticed the bus goes in the other direction to Canterbury, which would be a good day out.
As always, a warm welcome and, if you are staying on a ferry pitch, an efficient arrangement. If you're staying on the main site, it's very rural, you could be anywhere.
Currently it may be worth considering using the M2 rather than the M20 due to the Project Brock set up for Brexit - 15 miles of two lane operation northbound; southbound traffic will use the other two lanes if the need to stack lorries becomes a reality.
