We came here straight from picking up our new motorhome. We were made very welcome and the facilities were clean and well kept. There were planters with herbs that you could use, what a thoughtful touch. We sent our 3 nights here organising our motorhome and as this was not too far from home we knew the area so there was nothing for us to see that was new. No good for walking or a cycle route but there is a bus stop close to the site entrance. Littl3 shop across the road from the site which is useful. It is an excellent location for trips to the continent being close to both the eurotunnel and Dover docks.
Lovely site, great way to start our holiday (and finish it too!)
Stayed July and August 2017.
A great site with excellent staff who were very helpful and most obliging. The toilet blocks were very clean, warm, well appointed and well maintained. The site is tidy and beautifully landscaped and surprisingly quiet to say that many guests are transiting to and from the channel ports and arriving and departing at different times. The late night arrivals system is excellent and the wardens are very helpful when you know you are going to be later than anticipated. My hard to please husband remarked that he'd like to stay here longer than the two nights either side of our holiday every year. There is a shop across the road from the site and a pub just a little further down the road. Dogs are welcome too which is a must for my family. Will be visiting again next year and possibly for longer than one night.
It helped make our vacation a good one
Hi to the staff and thank you.
This was our first trip to the continent and used the ferry pitch on our outward journey it worked well for us, and on our return from Europe we stayed for a few nights on the site, again after a long trip enjoyed the services and were pleased to relax and watch the birds and wild life from our caravan, we will return and explore the area another time.

Excellent stopover for Eurotunnel
Site is very close to Eurotunnel so is an ideal stopover before and after crossing. This is the first time we have used this site and we will do so again. There also appears to be a lot to do in the area for a longer stay
ferry stop over with a motorhome
What a shame that the ferry pitches are so close to a busy road with excess lighting. All for a maximum price. Not good value for money. How about reduced prices with reduced facilities? A one night stop over doesn't need everything.

Great
We stayed here for one night before getting the ferry but we'll certainly return for a longer stay. Great welcome, great pitch, great facilities, great location, great site!!
Great site, easy to find
Great site for visiting Canterbury, Hythe and Folkstone, excellent bus service from the gate, general store across the road, good TV reception, reasonable Vodafone 4g reception. Quiet site which appears to be used by many one nighters, I guess going to France via the Channel Tunnel, two toilet blocks, never had to queue for toilet or shower, strangely most activity in the shower block was during the evening. Useful pub just minutes away and no country lanes to negotiate to and from the site. Surprised that the rates a week before school holidays were the same as during school holidays but overall a very nice site with helpful wardens.
A great site that deserves more than a stop over
We stayed on this site whilst on our way to France. We were only there one night which was a shame because its a good site that deserves more than a one night stop over. Our pitch as a "ferry pitch" but don't be put off by this because they are just as good as other pitches on the site just a bit closer to the barrier. We were only here for one night so can't say too much other than it is a good site. One other thing the T/V reception via the roof top aerial was the best we've had in any Caravan site in the UK.
First class site next to Eurotunnel
We found this site totally first class. It's within 10 minutes of the eurotunnel entrance and has a fantastic pub over the road which does excellent food. Remember t o book or you will not get Fed. It's busy. The site is spotless and the pitches are very large and very flat. We has a special pitch but they had others as well as touch and go parking spaces close to the gate. Very dog friendly. Very well run. Info sheets answer all your questions. Fuel very close also. A fantastic site. First class. Fully recommended.
Very handy for the ferry and tunnel
We've stayed here a couple of times now on the way to Europe, and it ticks all the boxes. Really good idea to have dedicated ferry pitches, so as not to cause to much disturbance with early departures. One niggle - do watch out for those steps when accessing the toilet block, they can be a bit hazardous in the near dark.
