Not the easiest site to navigate.

We have tried to book this caravan club site for a number of years, but has always been fully booked, so we were pleased to finally have two nights in Berwick. Upon arrival we realised that the site was built on an elevated bank (which was perhaps a railway siding) Site is long and thin, and on two levels. It is not the easiest to navigate, as if you go along the one way system and cannot find a pitch to suit you, it is difficult to turn. The pitches themselves are quite tight in depth for our twin wheel van. The tarmac entrance road to the site is deeply scored where numerous caravans have bottomed out, so would advise approaching slowly on entrance and exit. The trains can be heard but noise is not disruptive. Usual story with the new central point for bins which is a pain on most sites. Site managers were welcoming polite and helpful.
