nice site, nice wardens
The position of the site is its main attraction. Fairly close into Berwick, lovely views from most pitches, and close to the England Coast Path. Which makes it ideal to explore from on foot, or using a bicycle. But cycling is better offroad due to the busy A1 being only a short distance to the west so the area available on road is greatly restricted unless the A1 is crossed. On foot - running or walking (or offroad cycling, subject to stopping to open and close gates) - there is huge scope, and exploring the England Coast Path in both directions is a must. As is seeing the town centre. Although the facilities are a little cramped and dated it is a lovely site with friendly helpful wardens.
