This was our first stay on a CMC site and we were impressed with the tidiness and cleanliness of the site, and the sea view was lovely. It would be nice to have a little bit more leeway on exactly where to position your van on the pitch but at least it tested my reversing skills! The site is situated close enough to Berwick to walk in, but there is a bus to Berwick centre every half hour with a stop directly outside the site. The staff were helpful and we were given a very useful leaflet with directions to closest shops, fuel etc. The major downfall of this site is its proximity to the highspeed mainline railway – and fast freight traffic continue up to every 30 minutes during the night. If you can get a pitch close to the site entrance this may be less of an issue – but be warned – the site description does not mention the railway line.
