We booked a week long stay at this site and compared to other caravan club sites this was sub standard. We arrived at 1o'clock as per instructions and had choice of three pitches all of which were 25 metres from the railway line. The trains ran from 5:30am through to 11pm with several trains an hour. Needless to say we were woken everyday,  very early.  Although the pitch was hard standing there was very little grass and to us this resembled a car park. The aesthetics of this side of site are poor. It was like the forgotten area and should not be used for caravans. I got the impression it was a case of maximising profit to the detriment of the clients enjoyment. In fairness other parts of the site were fine, however, the amenities block could do with expanding.  Due to our experience we would not book this site again.
