I have visited Berwick Seaview on several occasions and always find a warm welcome, friendly wardens and a generally relaxed atmosphere. This time I had an overnight stop on my way to Glamis and a three night stay on my way back home. The proximity to the railway is not a problem and is far outweighed by the beautiful views both of Berwick and towards Bamburgh and Holy Island. Berwick is a dog and motorhome friendly town and West Street is home to the best little chocolate shop for miles. Cocoature makes proper hot chocolate with real Belgian chocolate not powder and handmade chocolates to die for. Spittal beach, just a short walk away, allows dogs. Seaview is easily accessible from the A1 and it is a shame to use it just to stop over on the way north or south. You will be missing a treat if you do.
