Train noise split us 50/50

Lovely site with good views and within a short walk of the promenade with views both to Berwick upon Tweed and South to Lindisfarne and Bamburgh castle. Staff were very helpful when our key for the gas/electric/ cassette toilet snapped upon arrival, we managed to order replacements from www.replacementkeys.co.uk and the shoe repair shop in Berwick cut one too. There are no pubs serving food within walking distance but it is easy to park in Berwick in the evening and there is a bus stop directly outside the entrance, with buses every 20 minutes (not sure what time they finish). Pitching at the top of the site gives good views but is closest to the train line. There were three trains or so an hour during our stay, all high speed. This did grate on my nerves somewhat but my girlfriend hardly noticed them after a while.
