Thoroughly recommend...except for trains if light sleeper
We're motorhomers (7.3 metres) so had no trouble with the entrance, road down etc. but we did notice that some of the super caravans were having to do the double shuffle as it is a site that came into being before the mega units of today.
Very helpful wardens who made sure we knew that it isn't a drive around site looking for a pitch. It's long & thin and built were there used to be railway sidings so there are dead ends.
Outstanding sea views from the big majority of pitches. Easy walk into Berwick, just aim for the lowest of the three bridges. The beach below is totally dog friendly but the tide does come in very fast so be aware.
The one big but is the main line train that runs behind the site. In the day you get used to it but at night, if a light sleeper, the first goods train at 4.50am does mean an early start to the day. Take ear plugs!
Only given it two for peace and quiet because it isn't. It's a site to use as a base, not sit outside and take the sun...there isn't enough room if you have a caravan, awning, big car etc. The one for families is the same reason. No play area, nowhere for kids in the surrounding area at all. A great site though if you want to get into the car and travel
