Wanted to visit Berwick as was born in the town and hadn’t visited since I was small boy. Site is very organised and clean. On arrival Edgar was very efficient getting vans cleared away from entrance as we obviously were all there at 1pm. Got pitch and reported back to office. Wardens were friendly throughout and very helpful with advice on how to walk into town. Site itself was great. Wee bit of noise from main train line but not enough to spoil visit. Toilets and all other facilities no issues and all clean. Only problem is other patrons who really don’t get this band thing. What they find so hard I do not know but they don’t get it. Or it maybe they are choosing not to follow the regs. It is happening in all club sites I have discovered since. If you’re walking to town centre it’s a bit of a walk as footbridge is being refurbed. But once in town I was pleasantly surprised how nice it is. Looks s of pubs shops and cafes that all looked really nice. Very historical too. Lovely wee place. Not much in Spittal where site is but there is a fantastic beach to walk on. So all in all very enjoyable stopover and site is great. Certainly will return.
