historic place

The site is in a beautiful location for the view out to sea and the outer harbour. Last day here today but we have really enjoyed it, weather has been fine. Berwick upon tweed is a historic place and it is a must to walk the towns walls. St Abs is a small fishing port north of here and a walk up to the light house is well worth it to see the thousands of Gulls and Gannets nesting on the cliffs. Done the coastal walk to the cause way across to Holy isle [11.9 miles] took me 4hrs of easy walking and Cheswick beach is beautiful place. The site was very well kept and amenities were very clean, wardens very friendly. There is the main train line behind the camp, I was worried about the noise from this but it is not a problem and no trains through the night.
