Journey from hell! Only 2 1/2 hours from home to site but accident on A1 saw us 5 1/2 hours to site. We called to inform of our lateness and wardens as ever were amazing! Arrived 20 mins after 2000hrs but still greeted with a warm smile. Sent to the LAST pitch on site (not good pitch lol) but told we could move in the morning as many were leaving. Saturday morning moved to a great pitch. Super helpful wardens. Good points - Easy access to beach, small shop, and town is a lovely walk. Views with a sea view are stunning! TV signal was great and 4G on O2 network with 5 bars. Not so good - Needs at least 1 more service point. Very few pitches have a sea view! we were lucky to move to one that did, but many pitches have a tree view or a view of the toilet block etc. Access to site is very easy and although confusing at first the one way system works well. Toilet block was immaculate, although as ever it suffers with those amongst use that don't know how to use the loo brush!!! Sea Fog (Fret)! Be warned, this part of the country suffers with sea fog. We were there during the scorching BH weeknd with coats on! 5 miles inland the sun was splitting the sky. Check the forecast :). Anyway - Fantastic site in an amazing location. Superb wardens and views (When the sun is out) to die for. Safe travels all.
