Fantastic site - if you ignore the trains.
This is a well named site with views over the Tweed estuary. It's layout is slightly unusual with pitches on terraces at several levels. As with all club sites, the facilities are first class and the staff friendly and helpful.
The walk into Berwick takes about 20 minutes across one of the town's bridges. From it we were delighted to see otters swimming and diving in river. The town has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. There are also a number of supermarkets, so food shopping is no problem. Just over the bridge, we found a pub called 'Barrels' where we enjoyed a few pints of local real ale.
There were only a couple of minus points. Firstly, the railway runs adjacent to the site, so there is some noise, especially on the upper level. The other point is the longish walk into town and back if you want to eat out and enjoy a drink.
Overall, a great site to stay for a few days.
