When we arrived there was only one pitch left, right at the end of a row and tucked away with no views. More importantly if we hadn't had the motor mover it would have been impossible to access the pitch. Luckily after a few days someone on one of the prime pitches left and we moved to somewhere with a much nicer view. The wardens are very helpful and the facilities are up to the usual standard, however the site only has one toilet block, so 5 male and 5 female showers for a 90 outfit site, which I think isn't enough, particularly given the prices charged for the site. As others have said it's fairly easy to get into Berwick, and the beaches and walking along the coast is fantastic. I can also recommend the seafood from the factory outlet on Dock Road, near the lifeboat station. I'd certainly revisit the area, but would probably opt for a CL next time in preference to this site.
