A lovely site
What a lovely site and nice wardens. Granted the railway line is adjacent to the site but the trains are not constantly passing and they do become white noise. Didn’t keep us awake or wake us in the morning. Most of the pitches have a Seaview and views of Berwick upon Tweed. The town itself is old and historic. We took the train into Edinburgh which only cost £19.50 return each and stops right near Princes Street and a short walk from the castle. From the site you can walk to a beach which has views of the wall around Berwick. The sea mist when it comes gives the site a slightly eerie feel. It comes and goes quite quickly. We stayed here twice within 3 weeks and would recommend it. Probably not so suitable for children as no play area. If you park in town you pay just £1 for a parking disc and as long as you observe any parking time restrictions you pay no more. Just put the disc in the window with time of arrival and that’s it. Simple. There is even a free parking area near the B&M store.
