Nice site when you find it

We unfortunately used Sat-Nav to find the site (WRONG) - took us down a narrow dead-end to the beach and said "you have reached your destination" - use the directions out of the Club Book. It is a steep site with limited size of pitches which seems worse when you look at the space (or lack of it) between pitches. Felt we were staying on a storage site, but a very pleasant one for that. Wardens were great, very helpful recommending which pitch to choose etc.Very clean and well maintained

Enjoyable Visit

A very enjoyable visit. Easy to reach off the A1 even with the speed humps. It is a tiered site and the entrance is quite steep.Hill start required after booking in.  Although the pitches are level some are quite short. Up and down hill to the toilet block(which is spotless) and water points can be tiring. The view of the bay is spectacular - if you get the right pitch. The main train line behind the site might be off putting for some but it did not affect our enjoyment at all. We walked into Berwick easily - 30 mins but there is a local bus which stops at the site entrance. Will certainly be back.

Very pleasant few days

Our very first visit to the North East and we chose this site for its location. We had a fab pitch on the second row with a sea view between the trees. We did find the site a little cramped, particularly the roads, which are really narrow, and some pitches are quite short. To be fair, when checking in, the warden pointed out which pitches would be suitable for our caravan (7.2m). Wardens are super friendly, railway noise, as said before, but you get used to it, and a fantastic location for trips out to the Farne Islands, Alnwick and Holy Island. Definitely enjoyed our stay and the weather was good too!

Berwick sea view

Absolutlely agree with the two last reviews, just two negatives it is very crowded when full, the pitches are very close together also we pulled up  in a lay-byas it is a 1 o clock arriving site to find no one else adhered to this!!! Whilst we were here people were arriving at eleven fifteen. Not very fair

Happy Days!

Excellent site which gets better every year. We've stayed there regularly since 2002. Wardens are helpful, friendly and welcoming. Handy for shopping, sightseeing and walks on the beach - a 5 minute walk away. Happy to recommend this site to both young and old. Well done  Berwick Seaview. We look forward to our return in 2017. What a Gem!

Having never stayed in Northumberland before, my wife and I were pleased at how everywhere was so clean and the locals so pleasant. The site was spotless, with immaculate shower block. The main train line runs behind the site, but after a few trains have passed you get used to them, and our sleep was not affected. The same goes for the local church bell on the hour. The local pub at the bottom of the hill is dog friendly, so much they even had biscuits. M and S and Asda are also nearby.

excellent site

we stayed for a week in may 2016 from the moment we arrived we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the site was immaculate and has stunning views from all pitches the nearest shops were a ten minute walk away - asda, m & s food and other large shops on the retail park we walked into berwick along the dock road - this took us approx 45 minutes but we were stopping to enjoy the view along the way we visited a few places by car - bamburgh castle, holy island and the local honey farm all well worth the visit the only downside i could foresee from the whole visit was the wind - we had very good weather during our stay - we had one day were it was a tad windy and owing to the site being on high ground - we tethered the awning with storm straps - maybe  worthwhile making sure you take some with you as a precaution  the trainline runs behind the site - the noise did not bother us at all during our stay

Another great stay

We have now stayed here on two separate occasions (1 3 night stay and last week just for 1 nt on our way up to the north coast of Scotland).  Both times we had a great time.  V friendly staff, clean toilets / showers and washing up area. The location is brilliant.... a short walk to the beach, a longer walk into Berwick and if you need supplies M&S food hall about a 15 min walk away.  We will return for sure!

A Golden Weekend!

We celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary weekend at your beautiful site and thoroughly enjoyed our selves! Your warden directed us to "Foxtons" for our celebratory evening and, given that they started off with a full diary, they looked after us superbly, in an absolutely `jumping`atmosphere. A TIME TO ALWAYS REMEMBER! Richard and Ivy Birch.
