3 nights late summer

Recently had the pleasure of staying on this site. Tidy site some pitches with a great view over the town. Usual facilities and clean and tidy. Adjacent to mainline railway line with high noise levels which ceased late evening. Could benefit with a few more water points but generally ok. Would stay again as location is handy for A1 .

North East visit.

Spent 7 night's during the school holiday's with son' and family, great location to sight see the area, I'e Holy Island and the Farne island's/Seahouse's etc. Bamburgh Castle. did a day trip train ride to Edinburgh, plenty there to see ! within reasonable easy walking distance into Berwick, even for us oldies. Sandy beach walks on the site side of river. no play area for young children, our pitch overlooked the estuary away from the rail line, so this didn't bother us.

Beautiful Views!

We stayed at this site for a week. It was a brilliant base for lots of sightseeing. The views were beautiful, noise from train running behind site, but this didn't bother us too much.  Shower block was dated and with only one of them we queued quite a few times. But we always found it spotlessly clean.

Far too noisy!

We are just back from 3 days at Berwick. Lovely wardens and great views but it is far too noisy. The commuter train is off putting and a great shame for this site.

Spot on

Stopped off at this site for one night en route to the Highlands. Site was spot on. Close to beach to walk the dog (& us!) Would pop in again any time.

Lovely site

As a solo caravanner I sometimes need help manoeuvring my caravan and I can't praise the wardens and other club members for the help and assistance I am offered. This site was no exception and it's views are fantastic. Visited in August when it was rather windy but this didn't mar a great holiday. Loads to do in the area especially for walkers.

Homeward Bound Stop Over

This is a fantastic site when the weather is good, the town centre is only a short 20mins walk with a lot of interest for shoppers and plenty of eating places. We visited on the bank holiday weekend and booked a meal at Foxtons in town which was excellent. On the walk into town is a top class seafood supplier with a retail shop offering all sorts of goodies for the BBQ. Out and about there is lots to do on both sides of the border, ie Jim Clark Room in Duns, Paxton Hall, Lindisfarne, Bamborough Castle, too many to mention. Also a great stop over for Scottish members heading south for the Hull Ferry a very good alternate to the Melrose site. We were pitched up close to the railway line but due to the design of the embankment there was very little noise from the passing trains, being near to the station they are not running at full speed. Will definitely be back.
