This was stop 6 on our multi-stop tour from Lincolnshire to Scotland (and back) with 4 nights here after a 3 hour drive from the Maragowan site. Our second stay here since leaving home in April but this time on the return journey from Scotland.
Just love the big panoramic views here, fantastic! I don't want this to be a repeat of what I said in the outward review so I will just say that we have another booking here for 21 nights later in the year. Love it!
Had some great help from the wardens when there was an issue with our caravan while we were off site one day so a big thank you to Carolyn. Wardens do a lot more than cut grass and clean toilets.
Summary: A site well worth visiting for its location and wonderful outlook. Many nice places to visit within an easy drive or bus ride. Bus stop right outside the site.
Next stop: Teesdale Barnard Castle.
3 Nights - 3 May
Lovely site, with a warm welcome from the friendly wardens. Site well maintained and central toilet block to the usual caravan standard.
Lovely views from most pitches and a great wall into the town centre, probably about 20 minutes.
Nice walk along Spittal Beach as well, all very dog friendly

3 Nights 26 April 2019
This was stop 2 on our multi-stop tour from Lincolnshire to Scotland (and back) with three nights here after an easy two hour drive from a stopover at Durham Grange.
This is a favourite site that we visit regularly. The (new to us) wardens gave us a cheery welcome and advised us which pitches were still available. Many of the pitches have really stunning views out to sea over the Tweed estuary and if you're lucky you can spot dolphins leaping as they pass by. If you don't see the dolphins you will most certainly see lots of bunnies around the site, there are so many it's like meeting the cast of Watership Down!
The site has a central toilet/shower block which is well maintained to usual club standards by the wardens. Berwick is a comfortable 20 minutes walk or catch the bus from the stop outside the site. There are some nice walks along the nearby Spittal beach (dog friendly) or around the Berwick town walls. The coastline has lots of picturesque places worth visiting and inland there are many interesting places to explore.
Summary: A lovely well maintained site to stay at for exploring Northumberland and the Scottish borders.
Next stop: Strathclyde Park.
Lovely 10day break
Lovely site wardens very friendly and helpful .First time at this site enjoyed our stay great view from site lovely walks along beach and round walls in Berwick .Just wish weather had been better but will certainly be back
Beautiful sea views from nearly every pitch.
Just come back from this lovely site and have booked straight away to go back. For us it was perfect as having two large dogs we need plenty of easily accessible walks and with the beach a few minutes walk from the site it was brilliant. We also don't like to move the Motorhome once we're set up so having the town in walking distance is also a must for us. The staff are very friendly and welcoming so all in all it made for a perfect break.
Great views overlooking the river and the sea
I have stayed here a couple of times in recent months and always get a warm welcome. The site sits up on the side of the hill, with the main train line behind the site. As I only have a small van, I always get a pitch at the front, so benefit from great views and less noise from the train. Its a nice walk into town across the bridge, but not perhaps more of a drive for those less mobile. Will visit again, for the views which change depending on the time of the year.

A well run site
We had another three week stay at Seaview in September, that being our third visit this year but due to other commitments and the site closing in November we will not to be able to return until next year. This is a site with fantastic sea views accross the mouth of the Tweed and has some really great wardens. Steve and Mike gave us some much appreciated help when we had to take our awning down in high winds due to some of the stitched ties breaking. They have proved themselves to be helpful and great fun as well as keeping the site in top shape along with assistants Lisa and Keith.
They are all moving on to new locations after Seaview closes and we would like to wish them all the very best at their respective new sites.
We had two Christmases on this site which were both really enjoyable, it's a shame the club now close this site down for the winter but we have put bookings in place for 2019.
Looking forward to returning next year.
Avoiding Scottish Rain
Arrived and luckily got the best pitch over looking Spittal and Berwick and river estuary.
Wifey me and 2 dogs a nice walk in to and around Berwick.
We really enjoyed one of the most unique Bars we have ever seen.
Up stairs an antique shop and bric n brac......you have to visit.
I have forgotten it's name..but just 50 yes up the road from Angel Hotel.
Lovely walking on Spittal Beach and both Hotel and Bars accepted us and the mini schnauzers.
Will be back.
Lovely location with beautiful views
Stayed at it this site beginning September. Good location with beautiful views. Could walk into the centre of Berwick or down to esplanade or beach. We were able to cycle into Berwick also within a short taxi ride of golf course. Berwick had a good range of places to eat. Lovely clean facilities and we enjoyed our stay. One set of wardens were helpful - did not see other set of wardens in the week we stayed there. Will certainly return for another visit.
