Helpful wardens and a useful location
This is the second time we have stayed at Bearsted the night before a Channel crossing as it is a short hop down the M20 to Folkestone.
The assistant warden on duty during our arrival was friendly and helpful. My wife and both had pleasant chats with the senior warden who kindly pointed out some rare bats.
There is some road noise from the M20, but this did not disturb us unduly.
Although spotlessly clean, the toilet facilities are showing their age and would benefit from a refresh.
We will certainly stay here again.
