My site review

great site with lots of good things going for it, very quiet with a little road noise, very clean, very well maintained, I had a great stay at this site, downside for me, extremely rocky ground about four inches under the grass, you need rock pegs and patience, poor mobile phone comms, you will need a 25 foot coaxial cable to plug your tv into the booster system they have set up and could also do with being able to open the windows in the men's toilets they are locked and cannot be open without a key, ending on a good note, we the Caravan Club Members are very lucky to have Flows Fish and Chip van that calls on Friday, excellent fish supper and very good value, I will most definitely be calling in again at this site.

The club will miss you when you retire.

To say this site only has two wardens, it is remarkably clean and well cared for. Very polite and very helpful, the two wardens are a credit to the club. They will be sorely missed when the retire shortly.

Such a lovely site ??

We stay here quite a lot as it is close to home, ypthe site is spotless and the facilities are fab even music in the toilet block. Always had a good pitch and if ever I need anything the wardens are always pleased to help. Such a shame they are having to leave on their last year as wardens, let's hope the new ones are just as lovely as it would be a shame as this site is always a popular site

Good site with one drawback for me

This is a nice clean and tidy site with helpful wardens. We had been allocated a hardstanding pitch, but when I said I prefer grass that was no problem. The drawback, for me, was that during cleaning time there is no alternative toilet to use and the dishwashing area is closed off too at the same time. However, we did have a good stay there.

Allocated the only poor pitch

Lots of wonderful hardstands and I end up on a sloping bumpy grass site which I had to thread through trees to get to. Levelling up a nightmare and leaving site each day for touring made it worse. Road noise also unacceptable at the near end of site. Other facilities such as security, cleanliness business like wardens all up to usual caravan club standards as indeed were all the pitches except mine. Great location for touring Kent and a great fish and chip on a Friday Would stay again, however, ensure I wasn't on pitch 69 before I got there.

On return from North Wales.

We took the opportunity to stop over on our return journey from North Wales and had a lovely couple of nights. The wardens were lovely and very helpful following our drive from Wales. Really nice and couldn't be more helpful. The site is immaculate as you may have seen from other reviews. The wardens take a great deal of time in looking after the site and the facilities block which is a credit to them both. We will definitely be returning to this site for future road trips on our way out or our way back in!

0Clean and tidy site

We were entirely happy with the Bearsted site. It was clean, well kept and very pleasant. Our only issue was the exit arrangements - turning right on exit seemed very dodgy with the speed of A20 traffic. Perhaps some more warning signs would help.

Easy to find, lovely surroundings, helpful wardens

Easy to locate but lovely and pleasant surroundings. The facilities were well kept but my real highlight was the length the wardens went to to find me some milk for a cup of tea when my son drank the last bit. Thank you very much.

Excellent Site

Only stayed one night after returning to UK via Eurotunnel and not fancying the long drive back North. Really impressed with the site though. The pitches are large and the whole place is spotlessly clean and well kept. Very accessible Motorhome service point. Would definitely recommend as a stopover for anyone travelling to or from France but we are definitely tempted to revisit and explore the area.

Goodtime

Thanks to Terry and Roz for another lovely time at Bearsted site, always friendly and clean and tidy, for us it's sad to hear your retiring, but we hope it's great for you both. Hope we get friendly helpful people like you for the future breaks.
