Booked this site ; for a short break . Notified them of a possible late arrival - was pleasantly surprised to get an email back thanking us and wishing a good journey . Staff were very attentive; and friendly speaking at all guests on site . They were always busy doing something - yet always smiling and saying hello . Facilities were always clean - despite it being the half term break . Would definitely return as it is now a much improved site from years past . If you are “adults only “ recommend the pitches away from the playground, for a very quiet and relaxing stay . The Rhododendrons this time of year are spectacular; and create a lovely vista around the whole site . We liked it so much - we stayed an extra 5 nights !
