We've stayed here twice and will definitely return. It's not the cheapest place to stay but the value is great. Definitely follow the directions to the site given by them, it's a narrow lane off the main A368, but it's easy. The welcome is excellent and the unique uncoupling and site tractor taking your van to the pitch is lovely. The fully serviced pitches are worth it and everything is in excellent condition with loads of maintenance being done on a daily basis. You finish up with your van pitched pretty much level side to side, on a well tamped gravel pitch. One of the unique features is the facilities block. Rather than being a single ladies or gents block, the individual showers include a basin and toilet, and so rather than closing the whole thing, they can clean each individual unit , leaving the other 9 (?) in use. Excellent! The area is beautiful, easy reach of Bath, Bristol, the Mendips and the Bristol channel resorts (Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon, Portishead, Burnham-on-Sea etc). I've already mentioned the friendly welcome, but the wardens were all lovely, friendly and helpful. We visited the Red Lion on this visit, and were very impressed. It's not a gastro-pub but the food was excellent standard pub grub, and the beer was well kept (added to as they had Doom Bar - my personal favourite - on draught) All in all we stayed for 6 days and wished we'd booked for longer!
