Excellent site with 'cosy' layout
Just returned from a 4 night stay... It was very cold but we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
The facilities were arguably the best we have ever used...individual wash/toilet rooms which were well heated and kept very clean.
One great feature is the layout and corralling of cars off the main site. It gives it a spacious feel with 'nooks and crannies' of pitches rather than a series of regimented units.
We were there in the run up to Christmas and they had spared no expense in making it festive! Each pitch had a small light display with other trees illuminated too.
Bath is great city to visit - even without the Xmas market... we visited the Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent and the Herschel Museum. The campsite is close to a large lake that has some interesting walks with plenty of bird life. The village is 5 minutes walk away and has a general store and lovely Pub (Red Lion).
