Baltic wharf is one of the most popular CMHC sites in the country, so due to this, getting a spot can be difficult. We haven't been here for some time; had forgotten how enclosed it is, by the glass on one side and the boatyard on the other. The location is the greatest draw, easy access to Bristol old town along the quayside, SS Great Britain very close; the Cottage Inn a 100yds away. Unfortunately, the site has become terribly tired. It is a glorified car park with old gravel, tired toilet block and no WiFi apart from a hotspot close to reception. In fairness, Baltic Wharf has had its death knell hanging over it for some time. Bristol Council have been threatening to take back the lease fir a few yearsnow. As a result of this, I understand why CMHC had not spent any money improving its appearance. I don't think we'll be returning any more.
