A Great Site and Victory for Common Sense

We have just returned from another visit to Baltic Wharf - not a 'pretty site' we would admit but it has a certain charm. It is like a little oasis in the city and is reminiscent of a walled garden with your own key to the rear gate giving you access to the waterside harbour. The wardens who are really friendly and helpful do a great job in keeping the site and its facilities clean and tidy. Not a particular child friendly site from the point of view of play areas etc. but there is a wealth of history and places to visit within easy walking distance which should more than keep your children occupied - especially following the 'Shaun the Sheep' trail - 70 of them dotted around Bristol and each one individually designed. What great news to hear that the site has a stay of execution for the next 3 years - it would have been and would be a travesty to see this site close !
