Stayed here for 5 nights and the site is fantastic. It's kept spotless by the staff and they work hard maintaining the shrubs and flowers. Also have a little herb garden that you can help yourself too. Wardens really helpful on area. Good links for buses and trains from markinch. It's a great area as a base to explore Fife. We have family in area and they all visited one night and they all said how beautiful the site was.  Balbarnie park is beautiful to walk around, especially with our dog. We have 11 year old boy and he loved it, prob too quiet if have a few kids but depends what your child's are like. We wished we stayed longer
