We stayed one night here whilst touring. It's accessible and beautifully sited amongst pine trees. However, this means that some pitches are in dappled shade. We also found that the wifi was variable in our corner of the site. The site is surrounded by houses on one side, but this did not feel too obtrusive, maybe because of the trees. We were near the road, and we did find the road noise a bit much. It isn't incessant noise, but just a steady stream of occasional vehicles passing. So if this will bother you, go for a pitch away from that side. The site is right next to Balbirnie Park which is a delightful place to stroll and walk a dog.
